Alcotraz Melbourne is looking for a Cocktail Bar Manager.

This is a hybrid role where previous people management experience is essential.

On weekdays you will have standard bar manager responsibilities such as stock management/ordering, scheduling the bar team, bar cleanliness, as well as making high quality cocktails at high speed during the shows we run.

On a weekend, this individual will step up to managing the whole venue, including intake of guests, making sure the show runs to time and handling any customer issues.

In short, Guests smuggle in their favourite liquor and it’s on the bar team to understand their likes and dislikes and serve 4 rounds of delicious, personalised cocktails. On top of this we have performers bringing a storyline to life around the guests.

We expect this role to provide 25-30 hours a week as part of a part time contract, initially starting as a casual contract to allow you to start with us quickly while all the contracts are being sorted and agreed. The majority of hours will come across the Friday/Saturday.

We are looking for someone to start immediately.

• 25-27 hours a week on site, with 16 of them being Friday/Saturday.
